राज्य स्तरीय भैंस प्रजनन केन्द्र, वल्लभनगर (उदयपुर) । Buffalo Improvement at Livestock Research Station (LRS), Vallabhnagar (Udaipur): Project on Buffalo (Surti) Improvement at Livestock Research Station (LRS) is situated in Vallabhnagar, around 40 Km from Udaipur city in Rajasthan. Vallabhnagar is also known for College of Veterinary and Animal Science which was affiliated to MPUAT Udaipur but later on transferred to RAJUVAS, Bikaner on 13th day of May, 2010.
The main Objectives are: 

• To undertake genetic improvement and conservation of buffaloes.
• To undertake work on physiology and behavioral aspects of buffalo for better management
