Rajasthan Current Affairs for June 2015 - Daily Updates:
- Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan on Tuesday cut the key interest rate by 0.25 percent, third time this year, meeting market and government expectations of boosting growth by lowering borrowing cost.
- Union IT, Telecommunication Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today addressed media in Delhi on one year works of his ministry. Prasad declared national free roaming of BSNL from 15 June.
- Union Health Minister JP Nadda, speaking to DD news said that government has formulated a Newborn Action Plan under which newborn babies and mothers will be provided free vaccines and medicines. The health minister also said that government has set a target of 100 percent vaccination by 2020. Due to rise in depression cases, Government is taking measures to alert people about the risk associated with the disease.
- Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi launched the IAP HealthPhone programme in New Delhi today. The IAP HealthPhone programme is the world’s largest digital mass education programme for addressing the malnutrition in women and children.
